Parade of Christmas Holiday Gala SOS Children’s Village will hold its annual fundraising party Thursday, Nov. 27, 7 p.m. at Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver. The evening will include wine, craft beers, food, entertainment, and live and silent auctions. $75. sosbc.org

A Carol’s Christmas This original comedy will be performed by students of North Shore Neighbourhood House theatre and drama class Friday, Nov. 28, 6:30 p.m. at 225 East Second St., North Vancouver. Admission by donation.

Charity Tree Lot Aunt Leah’s Place will be selling Christmas trees at the East Plaza of Lonsdale Quay, 123 Carrie Cates Court, North Vancouver Nov. 28-Dec. 24. Hours: Monday-Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. and Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Aunt Leah’s Place is a transitional house for homeless moms and babies.

Holiday Hi-Light Festival Park & Tilford will have a display of more than 50,000 lights at the community gardens from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31 at 333 Brooksbank Ave., North Vancouver. The opening night light-up will be Friday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. Fridays are family nights and there will be visits with Santa, hot chocolate, cookies, face painting, strolling characters and more.

Marche de Noel Christmas Fair Hosted by École Cedardale elementary Friday, Nov. 28, 3-6:30 p.m. at 595 Burley Dr., West Vancouver. The fair will include food, pictures with Santa, Christmas crafts and more. Proceeds will go to support the Grade 7 trip to Carnaval d’Hiver in Quebec City.
