A Coquitlam McDonald's restaurant has reportedly closed after one of its workers tested positive for COVID-19, reports say.

According to media reports, the restaurant located on Woolridge Street is undergoing complete sanitation after an employee tested positive after a shift last Tuesday.

McDonald's Canada has said a third party is doing the cleaning.

The Fraser Health Region - where Coquitlam is located - has seen the most of the province's 2,878 COVID cases to date, accounting for more than half (1,514) of the total.
