Cadets mark Battle of Atlantic in Lower Lonsdale

The Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Lonsdale marched during a ceremony Sunday at North Vancouver’s Waterfront Park to commemorate the Battle of the Atlantic.

The annual event is held to honour the service and sacrifice of the thousands of Canadians who fought valiantly in the North Atlantic, including the 128 men who lost their lives with the sinking of HMCS Athabaskan 75 years ago.
