JOHN HAMMOND Blues artist John Hammond is the stuff of legends. As inductee into the Blues Hall of Fame, winner of a Grammy Award (plus seven more nominations), and performer with Jimi Hendrix Muddy Waters, Tom Waits, and many more, Hammond remains one of the world's premier acoustic blues artists. "John's sound is so compelling, complete, symmetrical and soulful with just his voice, guitar and harmonica, it is at first impossible to imagine improving it... He's a great force of nature." TOM WAITS

JUAN MARTIN Described as "a giant of the flamenco guitar tradition," Juan Martin is renowned for his blistering technique, raw emotion and supercharged performances. Following his sold-out Kay Meek Centre performance in 2009, Juan returns with a spectacular new Flamenco dance ensemble featuring, direct from Spain, the stunning dance of 'Miguel Infante' and the flamenco brilliance of Raquel de Luna. Andalucían singer Amparo Heredia 'La Repompilla' joins Juan Martín and musicians Paul Fawcus on flute and clarinet and the renowned Chris Karan on percussion for an evening of smouldering Mediterranean passion.

JUDY COLLINS Folk music hasn't produced stars bigger than Judy Collins: a true folk music idol. Blessed with a voice that can tingle spines, swell eyes and warm hearts, she is perhaps one of the greatest living American folk singers. Thrilling audiences for more than 40 years she is probably best known for her rendition of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" and her Grammy Award-winning take on "Send in the Clowns". Accompanying herself on piano and guitar, Collins performs music by her contemporaries and from her own songbook.
