MIKE Rascher and his 14-year-old son Terrence participated in an orienteering race in May held by the Greater Vancouver Orienteering Club that took competitors through the Rice Lake area at the Lower Seymour Conservation Forest. Upcoming events are taking place at Queen Elizabeth Park on July 11 at 6: 30 p.m. and at Lonsdale Quay on July 18 at 6: 30 p.m. Later on this year a Lynn Valley Adventure Run is scheduled for Oct. 14.
