The North Shore News photography team - all of us longtime staffers - is interested in fresh ideas, new perspectives and anything we haven't covered before.
Inspired by a web photo where the artist carved the English alphabet on the tips of 26 pencils, I decided to do my own rendition and photographically capture the alphabet across the North Shore. Some of the letters that you may think would be easy to find ended up being the most challenging, including the letters L and H. They were the very last ones I shot, keeping in mind that just covering signs was going to be a last resort. The following is a selection of photos from this lettered journey.
