Halloween in Edgemont Village: The Edgemont Village Business Association invites all costumed children to come and "Trick or Treat" throughout the Village on Monday, Oct. 31 between 1 and 5 p.m. There will be orange and black balloons outside the participating businesses. Children who wish to participate must first make a small donation at the Family Services of the North Shore tent where they will get their hand stamped.

Candy Buy Back: Dr. Pocock's orthodontist office will launch their annual program Tuesday, Nov. 1. Bring in your Halloween candy and they will give you $1 per pound. You can choose to keep the money or donate it to the Children's Hospital. Every dollar donated will be matched by Dr. Pocock and the candy will be donated to the food bank.
