COME TOGETHER FOR THE HOLIDAYS: This holiday season, Park Royal invites the public to celebrate with family-friendly events. Pose for a photo with Santa Claus, listen to live musical sounds of the season, including carolers and excerpts from the Nutcracker by the GOH Ballet, make holiday crafts, decorate a gingerbread house, write a letter to Santa and sing along to holiday carols. PEAK OF CHRISTMAS: Grouse Mountain will have reindeer-themed festivities with a reindeer ranger talk, reindeer and Christmas themed holiday movies, a craft area with antler making and reindeer tattoos. There will also be sleigh rides and outdoor ice skating. SOS Children's Village will have its Parade of Christmas gingerbread village display in the Spirit Gallery. CAROLS AND BRASS: Musica Intima and the Local Brass Ensemble will perform a holiday concert Friday, Nov. 30, 7-8: 30 p.m. followed by a wine and cheese reception at Mount Seymour United Church, 1200 Parkgate Ave., North Vancouver. CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA - PARADE OF TREES: The North Vancouver Chamber will host a display of decorated trees from Nov. 30 until Jan. 7 at Shipbuilders' Square, 138 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver. HOLIDAY HI-LIGHT FESTIVAL: Park & Tilford will have a display of more than 50,000 lights at the community gardens from Nov. 30 to Dec. 31 at 333 Brooksbank Ave., North Vancouver. The light-up will take place Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. Family Friday Nights will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. with Santa visits, hot chocolate, cookies and live entertainment.

There will be a lantern parade, craft activities, balloon twisting, carol singing, hot chocolate, treats and more including a visit from Santa.
