Wine and Cocktail Dinners: The West Restaurant team will hold a series of wine and cocktail dinners in conjunction with the launch of executive chef Quang Dang's new single component, à la carte and tasting menus. Valentine's Day: Boston Pizza will have heart-shaped pizzas available on Tuesday, Feb. 14 in individual, small and medium sizes, on classic or multi-grain dough for dine-in, take-out or delivery. One dollar from each sale of a heart-shaped pizza goes toward the Boston Pizza Foundation in support of its many charities, including Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Kids Help Phone. Cupcake Throwdown: Over 20 bakers will go head to head in a battle for Vancouver's best cupcake on Feb. 16, 7-10 p.m. at The Chapel, 304 Dunlevy Ave., Vancouver.
