Weekend forecast: The late-summer sun is sticking around

Temperatures are forecasted to top 20 C across the North Shore this weekend, with little chance of rain 🌞

Good news for sun-lovers, as the forecast for this weekend is calling for a continuation of warm weather with nary a cloud in the sky.

For Saturday and Sunday you can expect temperatures in the low- to mid-20 C range across the North Shore, peaking with forecasted highs of 24 C in the Lower Lonsdale, Capilano University and Deep Cove neighbourhoods, according to the weekend forecast from Weatherhood, which provides neighbourhood-specific meteorological data.

The one slight outlier on the North Shore is Horseshoe Bay, with a forecasted high of 20 C on Saturday dropping to 19 C with a 22 per cent chance of rain on Sunday. Elsewhere on the North Shore the possibility of precipitation is low, with just a five per cent chance of rain showing in the Sunday forecasts for Upper Capilano, Lower Lonsdale, Capilano University and Deep Cove.

You may want to pack a sweater if you're hitting a late-night patio, as forecasted lows are in the 12-16 C range across the North Shore this weekend. Enjoy that late-summer sun!
