North Shore Rescue plays a crucial role in our community.

Odlum Brown Limited has deep roots on the North Shore, with many of their clients and team members calling this region home.

This is part of why the independent, full-service investment firm is so grateful to North Shore Rescue for its tireless efforts to keep our communities safe.

With six locations across B.C., Odlum Brown provides independent investment advice and objective, value-based research with a singular focus on clients. Founded in Vancouver in 1923, Odlum Brown is proud to have helped their valued clients grow and preserve their wealth for close to 100 years.

Helping others and volunteerism are values Odlum Brown shares with North Shore Rescue, and other volunteer-based ground search and rescue teams across the province. In fact, Odlum Brown supports more than 150 local and national community and charitable organizations annually through sponsorship, employee volunteerism and special donations.

“At Odlum Brown, we invest for our clients’ futures. We also invest in the communities, where our clients and team members live and work,” says Odlum Brown President and CEO Debra Doucette. “Community involvement is in our firm’s DNA; it was part of our founders’ vision nearly 100 years ago, and remains a core value of Odlum Brown today.

“Our team members are passionate about supporting their communities, and they give back in a variety of ways. As a firm, we strive to support organizations like North Shore Rescue that share our commitment to making an impact on our community, now, and for generations.”

In Dec. 2021, the firm was honoured to donate $25,000 to the BC Search and Rescue Association, of which North Shore Rescue is a member.

In Jan. 2022, Odlum Brown featured a full-page ad in the North Shore News to express their gratitude to North Shore Rescue and put a spotlight on their crucial role in our community.

North Shore Rescue had its busiest year on record in 2021, aiding countless people, families, and pets during the devastating weather events in the Lower Mainland. The team at Odlum Brown extends their deepest thanks to the organization’s volunteers.
