A new community seniors’ facility named Cedarliving is currently being planned for West Vancouver.

Located at 530 Inglewood Avenue, in the Cedardale community adjacent to Cedardale School, this capital-intensive facility will bring plenty of the latest concepts and modern technologies to the local community.

The proposed community seniors’ facility consists of 307 seniors’ independent living rental units along with 186 below-market rental units for employees and necessary community amenities such as fine dining space, roof-top club, cafe, hair salon, gym, spa, and much more.

As part of their community amenity contributions, Cedarliving will provide three months of free rent to West Vancouver residents under their Neighbour First Program for their independent living. Cedarliving will also provide a ten per cent rental discount to West Vancouver moderate-income employees.

Cedarliving has approved some exclusive benefits to Cedardale community, such as 49 free parking lot spaces for Cedardale teachers and parents to improve local traffic flow on Inglewood Avenue and a 5,400 sq. ft. Cedardale Centre, which will be free for the public to use. This centre will include some seniors’ amenities and special preferential policies only available to Cedardale residents.
