Four benefits medical supplies company brings to North Vancouver residents

The new store location will bring significant benefits to the local community

HME, a leading mobility and accessibility equipment provider, is expanding once again in the Lower Mainland, with an exciting new location set to open in North Vancouver January 2022.

For over 25 years, HME has been at the forefront of delivering, servicing and managing medical products for clients in communities across British Columbia.

“North Vancouver will be our North Shore hub for specialized accessibility, pediatrics, long-term care and adult rehab divisions,” HME CEO Robert Boscacci says.

The new location will bring significant benefits to the surrounding communities. Read on to find out why HME’s new North Vancouver location is great for residents.

Proximity

“The North Vancouver location is a significant investment for HME,” HME CIIO Cameron Fleming says.

“However, we know that this is an important strategic growth decision that was made with the knowledge that our clients are best served by having local branches near their homes.”

Now residents can stick close to home when looking to fill their medical supply needs.

Try before you buy, with expert advice

The new location will include an interactive stairlift and vertical platform lift display that allow clients to try the equipment before they buy.

There will also be a fully equipped assessment area for community occupational therapists to use with their clients to trial equipment. The new location will feature an expansion of its local seating and mobility specialist team to provide professional service in a timely manner to North Shore residents of all ages.

Dedicated pediatric area

HME’s pediatric division is composed of certified installers, specialized mobility experts and a customer service team focused on providing the best pediatric support to those in need.

“The new location will be a huge benefit to HME’s pediatric clients,” Lower Mainland pediatric and sales manager Michelle Harvey says.

“The North Vancouver branch will have a dedicated pediatric fitting and consultations rooms available for public clinical use, which will provide a valued service to these communities.”

This will allow families with disabled children on the North Shore to try walkers and standers in an accessible and private location.

Huge selection

The North Vancouver office will have over 9,000 square feet of warehouse space, along with a customer showroom, clinical fitting rooms, and office space. Local warehousing will ensure clients needs in the area can be met promptly.

HME provides locally-made products that deliver optimal quality and superior value.
