A year after it first went on sale, a world-class wilderness resort has dropped more than $1.5 million from its price.

The Little Wolf Resort is an award-winning accommodation near Terrace on the Skeena River. Hidden amid the forest near the banks of the river, the resort is built out of massive cedar logs, creating a huge log cabin.

"The first natural timber frame red and yellow cedar wood castle on earth," reads the resort's tagline.

In August 2024, the property was first listed for $21.5 million. Recently, a new listing shows the price has dropped to $19.9 million, about the same as a luxury house in Point Grey or a Coal Harbour penthouse.

The massive trees used for the structure were hand-selected. It was constructed by Pioneer Log Homes and featured on the Timber Kings show when it was built in 2017. The resort building has also been featured on other shows and magazine articles, and has won multiple awards.

With eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, it offers "world-record trophy fishing and heli-skiing at your doorstep, year-round tourism adventures, a hotel-resort, café and restaurant," among other perks.

While it is remote compared to Vancouver, it's actually located just off Highway 16. According to Google Maps, Little Wolf Lodge is about a 14-hour drive from the city, or an 80-minute flight.
