A new mixed-use tower has been proposed to go up on the corner of Marine Drive and Fell Avenue in North Vancouver.

Cascadia Green Development has submitted a rezoning application for the former Midas property at 1421 Fell Ave. in the City of North Vancouver.

At 12 storeys, it would be more than twice the height of most other buildings in the area.

The proposal includes one level of commercial units on the ground floor, one level of offices on the second floor and ten levels of strata apartments with a rooftop patio, according to the proposal.

Of the 110 condos, 65 would have one bedroom, 44 two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms.

There would be underground parking for 76 vehicles with access from the rear lane off Fell Avenue.

A developer-led virtual information session is being held Tuesday evening, June 24, 6 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.
