That was the topic of a recent meeting on traffic congestion by the Mayors’ Council on Regional Transportation and TransLink, where they outlined their determination to look into mobility pricing. It’s a move that could bring in bridge tolls, vehicle permit fees or extra fuel taxes.
North Vancouver City Mayor Darrell Mussatto said colloquially that when he asks people if they’d pay $3 to get over one of the North Shore bridges quickly, they usually say yes.
