At many retailers, Christmas displays and merchandise hit the shelves while the Halloween ghosts and goblins were still haunting the aisles.
That has some fatigued shoppers asking for a short reprieve between the holiday seasons, one that also respects the day of remembrance for our veterans on Nov. 11.
