As Metro Vancouver draws closer to its upcoming transit referendum, differences in opinion continue to grow.
Those on the Yes side argue a half per cent increase on PST is minute compared to the benefits a bolstered transit system will bring the region for the future, which is predicted to grow by a million residents over the next 30 years.
For those in the No camp, however, the tax increase is just another hand in the public’s pocket in a region that already pays high living expenses.
So where do North Shore residents side on the debate?
