This past weekend’s storm brought torrential rain and high winds that felled large trees and knocked out power to about 28,000 homes on the North Shore.
While some were rattled by the wacky weather, others rolled with the punches and gained a greater appreciation for modern conveniences.
The storm served as a reminder that people should be self-sufficient for a minimum of 72 hours in a natural disaster.
