Dear Editor:

On Jan. 27 my husband and I were at the Lonsdale Quay, on our way to the airport. In the process of purchasing TransLink tickets, I dropped my small handbag which contained my passport and all other ID. When we arrived in the SeaBus boarding area I suddenly realized that my bag was missing. As we stood there in a moment of extreme panic and confusion, a woman hurried up to me and asked whether I had dropped my bag! We ran back to the entrance, where her husband told me that the bag was given to a TransLink officer who at this time was checking with the passengers on a bus as to whether anyone there lost it.

I want to again thank this wonderful, caring couple and the officer, who made it possible for us to continue on our holiday.
