Dear Editor:
I have just slalomed down the West Vancouver 21st Avenue hill, even though there is no snow yet. Can you imagine how treacherous it will be when we do have a dump of the white stuff?
All those curbs jutting out with no markers to give you a chance to navigate the hill. Furthermore, imagine the snowplow operators trying to clean this poorly designed and twisting street.
I use the avenue three or four times a week and hardly ever see anyone walking, and yet the road was narrowed to provide more sidewalk. Be careful if you are passing a bus or truck as their tires are right on the yellow line, or over it.
Who designed all this, a ski instructor?
