Where's your poppy?
As I spent my day in Vancouver and back at home in West Vancouver this past week, it startled me to see how few people are wearing the poppy a week before Remembrance Day.
The poppy, proudly worn on our left lapel, shows our commitment to the memory of our Canadian soldiers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice over many decades for the freedom we enjoy.
Please show your respect, and honour the sacrifice of these brave men and women.
Please wear a poppy!
