Some neighbourhoods adopt nicknames, officially or unofficially. Hell’s Kitchen and Brooklyn in New York are officially called Clinton and Kings, respectively.
One nickname that seems to have sprung up for Lower Lonsdale is LoLo.
Should Lower Lonsdale adopt the name LoLo? Does it add a sense of class to the area, like London’s Soho? Or does LoLo make you see red? We took to the streets to see if LoLo was a no-go.
