Share the pain and the wealth by tolling all Metro bridges

Dear Editor: As I drive over and back on the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing for free, I find it most disconcerting when my friends in Surrey will be paying $6 to do the same thing over the Port Mann Bridge.

Dear Editor:

As I drive over and back on the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing for free, I find it most disconcerting when my friends in Surrey will be paying $6 to do the same thing over the Port Mann Bridge.

How any authority could toll one bridge into a city and not the other five and a tunnel is beyond my comprehension.

To rectify this injustice this is what must be done:

? Northbound - toll Massey Tunnel, Alex Fraser, Pattullo, Port Mann and Pitt River.

? Southbound - toll Ironworkers and Lions Gate.

? Remove all tolls from the Golden Ears Bridge.

? Set the toll at 50 cents on all crossings. You only pay when entering the city, you do not pay when you leave.

? All commercial vehicles are free on all above bridges and the tunnel.

Then I and my friends will be paying $2.50 a week, instead of me nothing and my friends $30.
