Dear Editor:
In your March 17 story, NDP Opposes New NV/Burnaby Riding, your reporter attributed a statement to me that I did not make. The story implied that I was encouraging constituents not to challenge the recommendation of the independent panel.
Regardless of the panel's recommendation, I have from the outset encouraged my constituents to voice their opinions and express their concerns on this important matter. Whatever the final outcome, I look forward to having the opportunity to continue to serve the people of North Vancouver.
