When it comes to doughnuts, North Vancouverites aren't starved for choice.
Some of the favourite shops are new kids on the block, while others have been around for decades.
But when it comes to the best, legacy clearly counts for something.
In a recent poll, Harmony Donut Shop emerged the winner (37 per cent of local votes) when it comes to the best doughnuts in North Vancouver. The funky store in Upper Lonsdale has been serving its annular confections for 51 years.
A clear second-place rival was Honey Doughnuts and Goodies in Deep Cove (almost 26 per cent of local votes). Cream Pony was voted third best (14 per cent of local votes), followed by Nickel's Bakery, Lee's Donuts, Monarch Bakery and Lucky's Doughnuts.
We polled 1,328 North Shore News readers and asked the question: What are the best doughnuts in North Vancouver?
