Dear Editor:
Nestled between sourpuss Baldrey recycling the same old same old and dour Elizabeth James venting about whatever is irritating her this week (I wonder if she actually ever smiles - come on, folks, new profile pics, please?) you have a bright light in Andy Prest. No fight to pick, no windmills to tilt at, just good old fashioned brilliant writing and putting words together to make you laugh and smile. What better way to start your day! As parents, we can so relate to his Oct. 5 column on cute kid versus single friends. Thanks for bringing back so many funny, fond memories.
