Dear Editor:
On Sunday I returned from an event at which a pit bull mauled a poor defenceless small dog and injured several people who attempted to get the pit bull to release the small dog. It seemed ironic to open the Sunday North Shore News and read Joan Klucha's "Enough with the Pit Bull Fear-Mongering" article. Sorry Joan, no sale. I'm not any more reassured by your article than by owners of off-leash pit bulls that are heading for my own small dogs saying "Don't worry, he's friendly."
