Dear Editor:
Canada geese are an ever-growing problem, both here and in the U.K. and doubtless elsewhere. But the U.K. appears to have solved the problem by allowing them to be culled and eaten.
I have often wondered, as I step around their disgusting mess in our popular Seawalk area, why we cannot to the same thing here and feed them to the poor, hungry or homeless.
I see no difference in killing these geese as we do other wildfowl and animals for food. So why not Canada geese?
