Dear Editor:
Shame on the 25,777 eligible City of North Vancouver voters who did not vote on Nov. 19.
There are people around the world who believe that the right to vote is so crucial to their future that they are willing to risk their lives to obtain it while you weren't willing to take half an hour out of your busy, busy day to make your choices fact rather than conjecture.
The oft-used excuse of "nobody listens to us, so why should we bother" works both ways you know.
The folks at city hall can easily think, "nobody votes, nobody comes to meetings, let's do whatever we want, nobody will notice."
It's a shameful circle.
