Look out for dollarton deer

Dear Editor:

We have lived across from the Dollarton Mud Flats since 1954. Over the years we have kept ourselves entertained with the antics of the various birds and occasional deer blundering around.

On Tuesday, we were amazed to see six deer gather around and then head west. I think they would likely cross Dollarton Highway to reach the treed area north of the science/bird centre. We have seen deer hit by cars or trucks there. Please advise your readers to watch out for four-legged critters, especially in the early evening.
