Dear Editor:
Skateboarding on roads is one idea I am absolutely against. I live in the Seymour area and do not want these boards flying around the streets; it is bad enough they almost hit people now. Lets face it, the streets are for licensed vehicles and it should stay that way. They can use the cyclist lane if need be. Just wait and see the accidents that will occur if this idea gets off the ground. If longboarders wish to use the street then they should be licensed and buy insurance like a vehicle owner. Even then I do not like the idea.
