Dear editor:
A heartfelt thank-you to District of North Vancouver employees who responded quickly to catastrophic flooding on Draycott Road in Lynn Valley after a water main failure on Friday, Dec. 13 shortly after 1 p.m.
While some properties suffered severe damage inside and outside their homes, everyone was pleased when the water was reconnected. Despite the enormity of the task the knowledgeable crew worked tirelessly to repair massive holes in the roadway and turn the taps on later that evening.
