Letter: Who else is fed up with noisy street racers in North Van?

This letter writer wonders why there isn’t more enforcement of vehicle noise bylaws

Dear Editor:

Enough already! I don’t know how many of us living in Central and Lower Lonsdale are woken up each night with the sound of street racers and cars with turbos, but I’ll bet it’s in the hundreds.

They come out about the same time each night and remind me of the “freedom” convoy participants.

I’ve written to both Mayor Linda Buchanan and the RCMP, and their answer is: there isn’t much anyone can do about it. I thought we had vehicle noise bylaws for this sort of thing.

Is anyone else upset about this?
