LETTER: We sacrificed playtime for saving-the-world time

Dear editor:

We are six neighbourhood kids who wanted to clean up the block. We cleaned up half a large bag of garbage and recycling. We even sorted the recycling and put it in its correct spot.

We wanted to be in the paper so we can inspire others to clean their neighbourhood too!

If everyone did their part, then we may help stop global warming.

We did this in our own playing time. We did not get forced to do it!
