Re: City of NV on Slippery Slope to Fun, March 25 news story.
What the heck is city council thinking about this “car-free day”? Shutting down Lower Lonsdale? Have they thought about the people that live in that area? Do they think that the drains are going to handle the water? Most likely someone or business will get flooded. With the lack of rain this winter, there will most likely be a water restriction.
City council should give their heads a shake. I live in Lower Lonsdale and disagree with this insane idea and I am sure I am not the only one.
