Dear Editor:
I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank the North Shore News and members of this community who were as appalled as I was at the theft of my mobility scooter March 31. I have had several offers of scooters from complete strangers, which touches me deeply and reaffirms my belief that the vast majority of people are good. Thanks to Scooter City in Coquitlam who saw the article in the news. I am the proud owner of a new candy apple red scooter. My dog is as delighted as I am to be playing ball again, and I am happy to have a new piece of living room decor.
