Letter: TransLink trading cards are fun but a Phibbs Exchange washroom would be better

"TransLink would find community goodwill increasing by an order of magnitude"

Dear Editor:

How exciting!

The North Shore's major transit provider, Translink, has recently released a series of transit-themed TransLink trading cards. These printed trading cards, according to the company's website, are apparently designed to promote "transit pride, nostalgia and a healthy dose of competition."

Transit nostalgia collectors are no doubt thrilled.

It is my firm belief, however, that TransLink would find community goodwill increasing by an order of magnitude – in comparison to collectible trading cards – were the corporation to finally provide thousands of daily North Shore transit users with a functioning washroom at the new multi-million dollar Phibbs Exchange.

Just saying guys...
