Dear editor:
As with many North Shore residents, I have been anticipating the eventual benefit of years of construction, lineups and traffic congestion when travelling east on Keith Road to Mountain Highway.
I read recently in the News that “the first phase” is nearly complete.

As I drove home, travelling west along Keith Road (from Mountain Highway), I once again saw cars lined up from Mountain Highway (in one lane) to well past Grand Boulevard.
This was at 2:45 p.m. Rush hour hadn’t even started yet.
I was hoping that someone could explain this “improvement” we’ve all been waiting for, as I sincerely can’t figure it out.
