Dear Editor:
On May 3 my husband and I went for a run on the Seymour Demonstration trailway. He was ahead of me when near the seven-kilometre mark he suffered a seizure. By the time I caught up and realized what was happening, a group of people had already stopped to help.
They had called 9-1-1, given their jackets to keep him warm and were consoling him. After I got there they helped me roll him onto his side and waited with us for the ambulance to arrive.
Thank you to everyone who helped us that day. It was truly wonderful and heart warming to witness so many people willing to lend a hand. We feel so lucky that you stopped and acted upon the situation immediately. With deep appreciation and thanks.
