Dear Editor:
I found the May 13 article City Flirts With Cutting Public Input interesting reading.
Congratulations to our city council’s decision to review their bylaws with the view to keep public input available at their council meetings, and, to ensure a respectful decorum by the public who wish to attend and thereby express their concerns to council. This decision recognizes council’s responsibility to provide a safe and respectful environment for all staff who work for our city.
To the individual(s) who think they have been identified as “some members of the public who expressed their views that is perhaps too strong or showing lack of respect ...” thou dost protest too much!
