Dear Editor:
My husband and I have donated to the TB Vets key return program for many years. About a month ago, my husband came home completely frazzled, not able to find his keys. He looked “everywhere” at least three times. On his key ring was a keyless entry fob for his car, which he asked me to see if we could purchase one online. I found out that it would cost approximately $200 to purchase and another $80 to program it.
Today, in the mail, we received an envelope addressed to him. He opened it to find his keys and his fob. Oh my ... a huge “Yes, it works!” and a “There are still good people in this world!”
A huge shoutout goes to TB Vets for forwarding him his keys – thank you! And an equally huge thank-you goes out to the person who saw the wee tag from TB Vets, attached to his keys, which read, “If found – drop in mailbox.”
May I ask those of you who have seen this envelope in your mail and have ignored it, to please take a look and send the TB Vets a donation – any amount helps this program and TB Vets Charitable Foundation, (which according to their website) is dedicated to “transforming lives and providing hope to all British Columbians suffering with respiratory illness ... from the newly born to the elderly.”
