Re: ‘Quaint and Artsy’ is Ambleside’s Appeal, Nov. 8 Mailbox.
Susan Thomas could not have captured the feel of Ambleside any better than she did in her recent letter. She described the many ways the park is enjoyed beautifully. I am one of the hundreds, more likely thousands, who visit Ambleside regularly and I am sure Ms. Thomas speaks for the overwhelming majority of visitors when she says “Please leave it as it is.”
It is unique and one of the most beautiful places in the Lower Mainland, in the whole world too. It is used by the entire community in all weather from very young children to old folk and everybody in between. Changing it will not make it better.
