RE: West Vancouver School District to build 116-space child care
What wonderful news! Just what is needed in West Vancouver!
As I read the article, I became even happier about this important next step in our community.
Imagine my surprise when I got near the bottom of the article and read assistant superintendent Sandra-Lynn Shortall acknowledging that not everyone might be thrilled at the idea of a new child care facility coming to the neighbourhood.
I feel sorry for anyone with such a narrow attitude. I am 81 years young, and I am delighted that this important need for our young children is being met in our community.
