Dear Editor:
Apropos of your Friday, Jan. 24 article on road sensors, there are other ones of which motorists should be aware. Every time you stop at an intersection controlled by a traffic light, there are magnetic sensors buried just before the stop line. If you stop a car length before the line it will not activate the signal. Look for the three-foot circles just before the light on the road surface and you will see the evidence of the signal activator.
