Dear Editor:
I would like to thank Brian and Jaclyn for finding me in the dark at Moodyville Park at night after my bike crash (on Wednesday, Aug. 17).
They called 911. They stayed with me, waiting for the paramedics and fire department. Jaclyn offered me her sweater to keep me warm.
If it wasn’t for those two, I don’t know what would have happened to me because there was no one around in the park. I’d like to say: they are real heroes.
My family and I will always be grateful for their heroism and their courage. I am out of the hospital. I am home. And very lucky to be alive.
I have a long road to recovery but I hope to make the climb up that hill.
