Dear Editor:
I was visiting two well known restaurants on the North Shore recently, one in Edgemont Village and one in West Vancouver. I was asking if they could support a charity I am involved with. Both said that, though they would like to do so, their businesses had fallen right off since all the construction in the areas ... their food is excellent and they have been there for many years.
By the time the construction is finished, up to three years or more, these little restaurants and other small independent stores in those areas will have had to close.
Please, let’s continue supporting them, or they will be lost forever.
