Dear Editor:
I am a longtime North Van resident and homeowner, who most always enjoys the informative contents in your newspaper.
This time around I write to say that Mr. Trevor Lautens is frequently informative and enjoyable reading. His column, published in the issue of April 24, however, must be applauded.
The man is a true wordsmith and a common-sense human being. It is so refreshing to read the work of an honest and down-to-earth writer, unafraid and willing to stir the dust in the quest to determine facts and report what he believes to be the truth. The “pen” is indeed, in this case, mightier than the sword. Keep on trucking; it’s excellent work.
