Dear Editor:
I would like to send a complimentary bouquet to the hard-working crews who have plowed our streets and highways on the North Shore with such diligence during this icy festive season. Even our small side street has been well tended.
We often hear the plows working in the middle of the night and would like to tell the operators how much we appreciate their efforts. Thanks, guys – you make living on the side of a mountain surprisingly manageable. We salute you!

A big thank you to both the city and district for their outstanding snow removal on almost all streets major or side. I have lived here for over 50 years and this year was the best.
