I wanted to give a kudos to City of North Vancouver staff, especially Chris French in the planning department.
Last year I was in LoLo [Lower Lonsdale] with a colleague, an individual who uses a wheelchair, and she pointed out how a designated disabled parking spot that had two cars parked in it was a bad thing.
It was a wide spot, but only had lines for one care.
She pointed out how a car parking beside hers would make it impossible for her to get in or out of her vehicle.
I emailed city staff, and not only were they responsive, they took action to rectify the issue and paint lines to show that it is indeed one spot.
I wanted to give a kudos to city staff, and specifically Chris French, for helping and being so helpful.
